the power in your hands

This is a phrase that is slowly becoming a cornerstone of our vision at Besesaka.

When we think about the everlasting change we want people to experience by engaging with us, this phrase captures a lot of what we stand for. We want everyone to discover the power in their hands. To discover just how much each individual is capable to create, build, produce and give. As well as to knock themselves out of anything that doesn’t contribute to becoming the best version of themselves.

At the core of our work, this is exactly what we are doing through boxing in our community, Bukom. Our intention is that our kids develop the self-confidence and courage to pour over other aspects of life. We believe these two key character traits are essential to discover the full power in ourselves and in our potential. Boxing provides a platform where we can awaken and develop these traits by literally using our hands, giving us immediate belief in them as instruments to create the life and world we want.

Once this clicks, the possibilities become infinite. We can do so much with our own two hands and our willingness to progress. Mixed with the right value-set, we end up with a leadership development combination that is as strong as Azumah Nelson’s uppercuts.

When working with our partners, the discussions about this power and how we can exchange it, has become a central topic of conversation.

“After a year of partnering with Delegate, I have come to realize why they have been in the top 3 of Great Place to Work since 2013, and even won the competition four times. This was done while growing from 25 to almost 200 employees. What a fantastic culture they have created in their organization, where one feels challenged, supported and understood. This culture has had a great influence on our collaboration and has been educational for me personally” comments our founder, James C. Nortey. “We are in totally different worlds but where we connect is in our deep belief in our people’s potential. Delegate fully understands that there is unlimited potential in their employees, waiting to be unleashed. I hope that through our partnership we can contribute to this process to make their culture and team even stronger.”

The question then becomes: What is the real power in YOUR hands? And if you don’t know yet, what are you doing about it?
